Text Messaging Health Advice Service Launched For Young People

Last updated by Chelsey Reynolds on Tuesday, July 9, 2019

The Essex Child and Family Well Being Service has launched ChatHealth, a confidential text messaging service that enables children and young people (aged 11-19) to contact a school nurse anonymously for confidential health advice.

It has already been up and running across other areas in the UK and been very successful, particularly with boys who rarely access face to face drop in services that are currently available in secondary schools.
